At the time of launch, the performance car from the German car manufacturer will be offered in two states of tune - a new 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine from the Panamera Turbo and the new Bentley Continental GT that generates 641bhp of power and 770Nm of torque; and a hybrid variant that generates 690bhp of power. The electric variant is likely to feature a similar motor set-up as the Panamera Turbo S E-hybrid. It is mated to the latest eight-speed S-tronic gearbox and power is sent to all the four wheels. The company claims that the vehicle is capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in under four seconds and its top speed is expected to be a little over 300kmph.

The company is further developing the lithium-ion drive battery pack and electric motor power system which will enable the hybrid variant to extract an extra 148bhp over the combustion engine’s output. More details about the vehicle will be known in the days to come.
