      New 2012 Mahindra Xylo facelift coming soon

      Mahindra & Mahindra, one of the most diversified vehicle makers in the Indian market, is looking forward to further strengthen its utility vehicle portfolio in the country by launching new Mahindra Xylo in the coming months. The 2012 Mahindra Xylo MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) will be a major facelift of the older version of the car, which will be carrying a number of cosmetic upgrades.

      The launch of new Mahindra Xylo will be colliding with the entry of a number of new MPVs in the Indian auto market including new Toyota Innova, all new Maruti Ertiga, Hyundai’s upcoming MPV and new Chevrolet Tavera. Thus, M&M doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned in making sure the roll-out of a highly competitive version of Xylo with a lucrative price tag.

      Powered by a 2.2 liter mEagle common rail turbo diesel engine, the new version of Xylo will be blessed with a number of changes including a more comfortable seating arrangement as compared to the previous version. The major changes will be made in the front profile of the car with newly designed headlights and bumper.

      Interestingly, the company has already started bookings for this prospective model, so that it can capitalize on the high demand for such vehicles in the Indian market, ahead of the launch of much anticipated new version of segment leader Toyota Innova.
