Audi India, one of the fastest growing car makers in the Indian market, is now gearing-up to roll-out the new generation version of its luxury sedan A6 by this year end. The all new Audi A6 2012 carries enhanced charismatic looks along with a number of cosmetic upgrades. The car is speculated to be launched in the price range of Rs 37 to 47 lakh, and the new 2012 Audi A6 will enable the Audi series of cars to compete more promptly with the likes of BMW 5 Series and Mercedes Benz E Class.
As per recent industry reports, the new Audi A6 model will be launched in the country in four engine options including two petrol and two diesel engines. The new petrol A6 model will be carrying a 3L TFSI and a 2L TSI engine that will be generating a maximum power of 211bhp and 300bhp, respectively. On the other hand, the diesel engine options include a 2L and 3L TDI unit that is capable of delivering a peak power of 177 bhp and 245 bhp, respectively.
All four engine variants of the car will come coupled with a seven S-Tronic automatic transmissions. At present, the Audi A6 model is available in a price range of Rs 38.41 to Rs 46.14 lacs.
