Planning to ride home a stylish performance-oriented bike in next six months? You may check out the Italian beauty 2016 Brutale 800 by MV Augusta that is due for launch in July, 2016. It would be the same model that was showcased at the recently held EICMA motor show held a while ago. Post launch, the bike would be sold via Kinetic Motoroyale and shall be assembled at Kinetic facility near Pune.
The MV Augusta Brutale 800 gets a 796cc three-cylinder DOHC engine that generates about 114bhp of power at 11,500rpm and 83Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm. For easy manoeuvrability it weighs a decent 175kg. In terms of design upgrade, the bike gets a new tail section, redesigned exhaust, refreshed fuel tank and LED headlamps. For a comfortable ride, it comes with Sachs monoshock for rear, while the front gets Marzocchi forks.
To begin with, the company will have showrooms in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru. The pricing aspect is unknown for now, expected to be introduced in India via CKD route, it could be priced around Rs 15 lakh (ex showroom).
