MV Agusta has started accepting bookings for the Brutale 800 in India. The middleweight streetfighter has been priced at Rs 15.59 lakhs (ex-showroom) and can be booked for a token amount of Rs 4 lakhs.
For 2017, the Brutale 800 has been given a slew of cosmetic updates to make it more streamlined and aerodynamic. The fuel tank, trademark triple exhaust pipes, headlamp and the tail lamp have been redesigned to give it a more aggressive look. The vents and ducts have also been repositioned. At the heart of the Brutale 800 is a 798cc inline three engine, delivering 116bhp as opposed to the older bike's 125bhp.
The rider aids include an eight-level traction control system, ABS, quick-shifter and a new slipper clutch. Once a customer books the motorcycle, the Brutale 800 will take between 45 days to 60 days to get delivered. Despite it being a middleweight, the Brutale 800 shares the market space with bigger bikes like the Kawasaki Z1000, BMW R1200 R and the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V.
