The model is provided with dynamic shield front fascia, which is replete with chrome inserts. It can be well differentiated with the standard from its new side garnish and bumper extensions. Two colours are available in the new car – Ruby Black Pearl and Quartz Brown Metallic. It has been provided with glossy black wheels and dual-tone 18-inch machines.

The vehicle has been provided with large centre console, redesigned seats, a standard power-adjustable driver’s seat and four spoke heated steering wheel. The company has claimed that the new model will come with lower NVH levels, which will offer a better riding experience, handling and steering. The hybrid model has been customised to get lower engine tuning, which provides an increase in efficiency by almost 8 per cent. The electric range has thus been increased by 0.6 km. Also improved is the throttle response as declared by the company. The new model comes with a renewed safety kit, which includes Multi-Around View Monitor, Unintentional Move-off Control system, etc. The 2016 Outlander will be available in the Japanese market from 9th of July and later in the global markets.
