Premium car manufacturer BMW has launched the MINI Pro Edition in India for Rs 43.90 lakhs (all-India, ex-showroom). However, only 20 units of the vehicle is up for sale in India and bookings is now available exclusively on Amazon India. The new JCW Pro Edition is based on the MINI 3-Door Cooper S with the John Cooper Works tuning kit and original John Cooper Works accessories. The new model is sold as a Completely- Built up Unit (CBU) in India and is available in two colour options - midnight black and classic British racing green colour with red roof and mirror caps.
Speaking of features, the vehicle gets JCW rear spoiler, JCW sport seats, LCW sport leather steering wheel and 17-inch cosmos spoke black alloy wheels. Moreover, it gets black chequered interior surfaces which are highlighted with glowing red soft touch knee roll, door armrest and dashboard trim. The high contrast head-up display reads out key driving information, while the Harman Hi-Fi audio system includes 12 high-performance speakers and an eight-channel digital amplifier.
To distinguish it from a regular version, the JCW Pro gets electronic damper control, interior colour line in glowing red, rear parking sensors, LED headlamps and a 6.6-inch MINI central information display. The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 207bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. The powerful engine comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
