A facelifted MINI has been spotted testing in Germany. This mid-life update for the hatchback comes 2 years after the current generation was introduced and is expected to be launched by the end of the year.
Our spy sleuths have informed us that this update is not expected to include any major changes in terms of appearance, apart from some new head lights and tail lamps. However, the cabin is expected to get some technological updates and possibly an expanded feature list to keep in line with BMW’s latest trim options.
This mid-life update is expected to run till 2019 when an all-new Mini is introduced. This car will sport a new design and possibly hybrid engine options across the range. As for launching this update in India, we can expect the car to come here in mid-2018 with certain variants being locally assembled.
