Michelin Tyres, the company known for its tyre technology throughout the world, has launched two new TYREPLUS concept stores, which are located in Chennai and Coimbatore. With the opening of the two new concept stores, which are named as ‘Mahendra Car Care Centre’ located in Chennai and ‘Tyre Care’ store located in Coimbatore, Michelin will provide the best retail experience to the consumers. The opening of the new concept stores also expands the company’s footprint in South India and strengthens its presence in Tamil Nadu.
Talking about the company's expansion in Tamil Nadu, B. Kumar, Country Distribution Manager, Michelin India said, “Tamil Nadu is an important market for us as the recent IT advancements and robust Industrial presence have given rise to mobility and thus in the demand of services for passenger cars. We are confident that our state-of-the-art stores and workshop facilities will provide speedy and efficient service to our valued customers in both the cities. Our focus is to create a unique experience for the consumers so that we retain them and expand our brand presence across the nation.”
The opening ceremony of the Mahendra Car Care Centre in Chennai was presided by B Kumar, Country Head-Distribution, Michelin India. The other people present at the inauguration ceremony were the owners of the store Ramesh Jain and Mahindra Jain and other official and guests. Mahendra Car Care Centre is spread over as area of 2100 sq ft and houses a team of 9 executives who all are well trained in required technical skills so as to provide the best services to their customers.
The opening ceremony of the Tyre Care store was attended by Chandan Thakur, National Sales Head for Passenger Cars, Michelin India and the M. Ramesh, the owner of the store, along with other officials and guests. The Tyre Care store is located at Bharathiar Road Junction, Sidhapudur, Coimbatore and is spread over an area of 3000 sq ft and houses a team of 15 executives who are well trained in their respective domain. Since the store is present at a premium location, it is convenient and appropriate for customers who want to avail the services of the store to get a complete Tyre Care experience.
