Mercedes-Benz India has launched the all-new Mercedes-Benz V-Class Extra LWB in India at an introductory price of Rs. 1.40 crore, ex-showroom. The luxury MPV is now offered exclusively in an extra-long wheelbase configuration and will be locally assembled in India.

The V-Class Extra LWB measures 5,370mm in length and has a wheelbase of 3,430mm, making it one of the largest and most spacious offerings in the segment. It is available in a six-seat layout with individual luxury seats in the second row featuring three-stage ventilation, massage, calf support, deployable cupholders, and wireless charging. Notably, it becomes the first vehicle in its class to offer ventilated seats in the third row as well.
Under the hood, the V-Class is offered with two powertrain options. The V300 petrol is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 228bhp, supported by a 15kW mild-hybrid system. The V300d diesel uses a 2.0-litre unit generating 233bhp. Both versions are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. The MPV also gets AIRMATIC air suspension as standard on both powertrains, with India being the first market globally to offer this combination.

In terms of features, the V-Class comes equipped with the AMG Line exterior package, LED headlamps, 18-inch AMG alloy wheels, a Burmester surround sound system with Dolby Atmos delivering 640W output, 64-colour ambient lighting, electric sliding doors on both sides, and an electrically operable split tailgate.
Safety equipment includes seven airbags, level 2 ADAS, Blind Spot Assist, a 360-degree camera, Active Parking Assist, and Attention Assist with driver monitoring.
Bookings for the new V-Class are open at Rs. 5 lakh, with priority deliveries for existing Mercedes-Benz customers.
