Also, Mercedes-Benz SLK 300 will come with a nine-speed automatic transmission system as a standard. The time taken to reach 100 kmph from scratch for this car is claimed by the firm to be just 5.8 seconds.

On the other hand, the diesel version of this model, SLK 250 CDI, has been replaced by SLK 250d. It will be powered by a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine, which will produce 201 BHP of maximum output. The firm has provided this car with the urea injection technology that enables it to reduce emission levels. Notably, this version of Mercedes-Benz SLK comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission system.

Mercedes-Benz has kept the remaining cars in the SLK line-up the same as usual. While the SLK 350 will come fitted with the same V6 3.5-litre petrol engine, the SLK 55 AMG is powered by the old 5.5-litre naturally aspirated drivetrain.
