      Mercedes Benz showcases G63 AMG; plans to substitute with G55 AMG by August 2012

      Mercedes Benz, the German luxury auto manufacturer, unveiled its all new G Class in near past in the international Market. Following with this, the company now showcased its G63 AMG, the car which will substitute the existing G55 AMG. G63 AMG will be introduced in the auto market in August this year with a price tag of € 137,504.50 ($180,000). This car will be initially introduced in Europe and will be then introduced in other parts of the world.

      On the other hand, Mercedes Benz G55 AMG is assimilated with a supercharged V8 Kompressor petrol engine that has a displacement of 5439 cc. The efficient engine of this car generates peak power of 507 bhp at 6100 rpm, whereas it churns maximum torque of 700 Nm at low 2750 – 4000 rpm. Engine of G55 AMG has 8 cylinders and three valves per each cylinder are equipped within the car. With a five speed manual transmission system, the performance oriented engine of G55 AMG enables the car to smoothly accelerate from 0-100 kmph within a short span of 5.5 seconds. Owing to this acceleration, Mercedes Benz G55 AMG attains a top speed of 210 kmph, which is quite impressive in this segment.

      As far as technical specifications of Mercedes Benz 2013 G63 AMG are concerted, the car holds a new 5.5 litre V8 engine, which is assimilated with twin turbocharged and has direct injection technology. The maximum power produced by the engine of this car is 536 bhp, whereas the highest torque attained is 760 Nm, which is quite impressive in this segment. However, the company did not mention the acceleration and top speed of this car.

      Along with a powerful engine, the new G63 AMG also features several world class advancements that provide a convenient drive to its passengers. These features include LED lights, park assist, new front grille, cruise control, rear view camera, blind spot assist, hill-hold, Trailer stability assist and electronic stability system. G63 AMG will be produced at the company’s facility in Austria, where G55 AMG is also produced.
