Mercedes-Benz India, a domestic subsidiary of the German luxury car maker, has opened the doors of its new world class facility in Navi Mumbai. The state-of-the-art store is called ‘Shaman Wheels Navi Mumbai’ and is strategically situated at Satra Plaza, Palm Beach Road, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Present at the inaugural ceremony were Eberhard Kern, Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mercedes-Benz India and Amar Sheth, MD, Shaman Wheels Private Limited.
Speaking on the opening of new Vashi-based retail store, Eberhard Kern, quoted, “Navi Mumbai is a crucial business district witnessing a steady rise in the demand of luxury cars in the recent past. We are happy to inaugurate our new facility here and provide the fascinating experience of owning a Mercedes-Benz to our discerning customers in Navi Mumbai. Shaman Wheels have been our long standing partner and the brand has been very well represented in the financial capital of India, Mumbai. The new Mercedes-Benz store- Shaman Wheels Navi Mumbai was set up in just 5 months, and has the capacity to display eight three pointed star models at the same time. The world class facility has a Mercedes café, accessories boutique and also offers valet parking service to its customers. The staff strength of Shaman Wheels Navi Mumbai stands at 20, which have been specifically handpicked and trained to provide a hassle free buying experience to the Mercedes-Benz’s customers.
Apart from the Navi Mumbai outlet, Mercedes-Benz India also opened the doors of a state-of-the-art service centre, situated at the prime location of Churchgate, Mumbai. Shaman Wheels has established this new service centre, which is spread over a massive area 45,000 square feet. This facility was built at an expense of Rs. 35 million and can handle repairs, service, paint and body jobs with ease. Up to 18 cars can be serviced at the Shaman Wheels’ facility every day, where 45 especially trained employees have pledged to offer the best service to the Mercedes-Benz customers.
