After spinning off five models under its performance oriented brand, AMG in about last one year, Mercedes Benz India is all set to introduce yet another model in AMG range. Buzz has it that the company will be launching new ML 63 AMG in domestic market onMay 15th, 2014. Last month, Mercedes Benz launched new GL63 AMG premium SUV in India. Prior to GL 63, the other four models launched under AMG line-up include C63, G63, E63 and SLK 55.
A mighty 5.5 litre V8 Bi-Turbo engine will power ML 63AMG, the motor is capable of churning out pinnacle power output of 525 Hp along with a top torque of 700 Nm.Mercedes will also put on offer an optional performance package that enables to generate enhanced power and torque output of 557 Hp and 760 Nm respectively. The robust engine makes the beautiful beast sprint from nil to 100 kmph within 4.8 seconds, while the optional performance package squeezes the time insignificantly to 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 250 kmph is achieved.
A SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7-Speed transmission is paired with the engine that transmits 40 per cent of power to front wheels and 60 per cent power is sent to rear wheels through Mercedes’ 4MATIC system.
