German luxury carmaker Mercedes Benz has been a global favorite owing to its cars being laden with world class features, comfort and style. At the recently held R&D base opening event, Mercedes Benz had showcased the Vision G-Code concept car that has mesmerized the audience present in the event. The G-Code not just looks beautiful, it is also indeed loaded cutting-edge technology.
The Mercedes Benz Vision G-Code concept is stated to be based on solar technology that comes with multi-voltaic silver paint finish to make it a good harvester of wind and solar energy. The vehicle shall make its official debute at 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Technical specification for the car has not yet been revealed and shall be known a later date. For now it is said that the vehicle shall be based state-of-the-art turbocharged combustion engine that runs on hydrogen. It shall also reecive an electric motor that shall drives the rear axle. The electric propshaft and dual-clutch transmission shall power the axles.
Speaking on dynamics the Mercedes Benz Vision G-Code concept features length of about 4,100mm, 1,900mm width and a height of about 1,500mm. Based on sketches the production version shall likely sport LED headlamps and tail-lamps, bold twin blade grille and prominent wheel arches that houses huge 21-inch wheels.
