Mercedes-Benz Malaysia introduces the C-Class Cabriolet

Merc’s C-Class Cabriolet is a drop top version of the C-Class coupe, and one will immediately notice the design similarities. With the C250 Cabriolet and C300 Cabriolet available in the AMG Line trim package, these cars can be seen with sporty front and rear bumpers, prominent side skirts, and chrome pin highlights adorning the grille.
Power for the C-Class Cabriolet will be sourced from a 2.0-litre turbocharged motor that uses a 9G-Tronic auto transmission, and will be offered in three power outputs. So, while the C200 Cabriolet makes 184bhp and 300Nm, the C250 Cabriolet and C300 Cabriolet will be tuned to make 211bhp and 350Nm, and 245bhp and 370Nm of torque respectively.
Equipped with a fabric roof that opens and shuts in 20 seconds, this feature can be operated at speeds of up to 50kmph, and when folded, reduces boot space from 360litres to 285litres. Some of the features on the C-Class Cabriolet include leather upholstery, adaptive high beam assist, LED intelligent headlights, a Burmester surround music system with navigation, active park assist, reverse camera, sports suspension, and active brake assist.
Mercedes-Benz is yet to confirm any plans of introducing the C-Class Cabriolet in India.
