Mercedes-Benz India has reached another milestone in the Indian luxury car market by launching its brand new and largest ever after sales service workshop in collaboration with its Indian sales and service partner, Auto Hangar (India) Private Limited in Mumbai. The facility is deemed as largest of its kind being spread over 100,000 square feet area, laced with an impressive 54 service bays and 159 service engineers employed to cater to the customer needs and capable of servicing 60 cars each day. Peter Honegg, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India and Mohan Mariwala, Managing Director of Auto Hangar inaugurated the company’s state-of-art facility, which is situated at Andheri (East), Mumbai.
The fully equipped service and body repair centre underlines Mercedes-Benz's work ethos of delivering 'Best or Nothing'. Speaking on the new world-class facility Honegg quoted, “Mercedes-Benz’s core brand philosophy is Best or Nothing and this has been our guiding philosophy in all our initiatives. Reportedly, the German auto maker’s new cutting-edge workshop has been conceptualised to ensure that the customers get familiar with the alluring ‘Mercedes-Benz Experience’. The world class facility took around 18 months for its completion and currently holds the title of being the largest after sales service centre created by a premium luxury car maker in India. The facility has been very thoughtfully located at Vihar Road in Andheri (East) with West East and Eastern Express Highway in its vicinity. The futuristic facility of Mercedes-Benz is backed by an immensely skilled and devoted staff, under whose guidance the company will cater to several demands of its customer.

Auto Hangar Mumbai is furnished with modern instruments incorporating several global technologies used by Mercedes-Benz like remote sensing diagnosis for instance. The advanced and swift working ability of the facility is expected to meet the service needs of Mercedes-Benz's customers residing in Mumbai and its surrounding places, all beneath one roof. The new facility will dispense 24-hour customer support in an array of services like general repairs, body repairs, paint jobs, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, tyre change, car wash and polishing.
