      Mercedes-Benz GLS 400 4MATIC petrol launched at Rs 82.90 lakh

      To further increase options for customers, the popular German luxury carmaker has launched the petrol variant of the GLS 400 4MATIC in India at Rs 82.90 lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). The petrol GLS variant has been introduced after three months of the diesel variant being launched in India. Except for a petrol engine option under the hood, the features and design element remains unchanged.

      The new Mercedes-Benz GLS 400 4MATIC is powered by 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine which generates about 330bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. Mated to a 9-G TRONIC 9-Speed automatic transmission, the vehicle is capable of achieving a top speed of 240kmph. The petrol version also comes with five different driving modes such as - Comfort, Sport, Slippery, Individual and Off-road. For safety, features like PRE-SAFE system, BAS Brake Assist, the electronic all-wheel drive traction system 4ETS, ESP with Curve Dynamic Assist and cruise control are offered as standard.

      Inside, it gets panoramic sunroof, COMAND Online with 8-inch high resolution media display and touchpad while also allowing smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay. Moreover, the Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system mesmerises occupants with authentic surround sound quality. Before the end of this year, the German automaker will be launching four more models in India in the coming months.
