Mercedes has extended its performance line-up by adding another SUV to its portfolio – the GLC C43 AMG Coupe. Based on the Mercedes-Benz GLC, this coupe on steroids resembles its bigger sibling, the GLE Coupe. At the price tag of Rs 74.8 lakh, you have a bunch of petrol SUVs and you can find it all here. But then, if you are looking for something else as well, here is what all you can lay your hands on.
If you want performance, amongst the Germans, the Audi S5 is a genuinely nice option along with the C43 AMG. Being sedans, they sit lower and will give you much better dynamics while saving you some pennies as well. Talking about sedans, there is always the E350 diesel which is almost a limousine in itself and is powerful and economical, but mainstream.
Speaking of pure performance and panache, you can get yourself a Ford Mustang or a BMW Z4 or a Mercedes SLC. The latter two being convertibles will certainly score over the GLC Coupe in terms of style with the option of open-air motoring as well. But they certainly will not have the ability to hit trails off the beaten path like the GLC possesses. The Porsche 718 also fits in right above the GLC Coupe and if you do not want to spend on the convertible Cayman, the hardtop Boxster will usher you into the world of Porsche handling.
