The Indian arm of Mercedes-Benz, a renowned German luxury car maker, is set to introduce its 2013 GL-Class facelift model in the domestic market on May 16, 2013. The GL350 CDI is premium Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and the new version is expected to come with superior engine performance, higher levels of interior refinement and several top draw safety features, as compared to the outgoing model. The new GL350 CDI could be priced little more than the outgoing model.
The soon-to-be launched Mercedes-Benz GL350 CDI model boasts of best-in-class interior space and is able to seat seven occupants (including the driver) with effortless ease. The interiors of this SUV conform to the standards set by the other 'Three Pointed Star' models. Apart from the setting benchmarks in terms of interior quality and finish, the GL-Class is a pure-bred off-roading capable vehicle and can tread any uncertain or demanding terrain thrown at it, without breaking into sweat. Owing to its astounding performance in the off-roading circuit, the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class is a favourite among adventure motorsport enthusiasts across the globe.
The Mercedes-Benz GL350 CDI luxury SUV and is expected to come fitted with a powerful 3.0 litre oil burner, which would generate maximum power output of 255 bhp, along with a highest torque delivery of 632 Nm. The engine assembly in the powerful GL-Class facelift is anticipated to come equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission system in an All Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration.
Speaking of comfort and safety features installed inside 2014 GL-Class facelift, this modish SUV would come fitted electrically operated tailgate, electronic sunroof and electronically adjustable third row seats, amongst others. The car features many safety equipments, such as Active Parking Assist including Parktronic, Hill Climb Assist, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and a drive authorisation system.
