Mercedes-Benz India has officially opened bookings for the new CLA, ahead of its India launch scheduled for April. Prospective buyers can reserve the electric sedan with a booking amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh, while prices will be announced closer to the launch.
The model will be offered in two variants – CLA 200 Standard Range and CLA 250+ Long Range. As part of the early reservation programme, customers who book the vehicle will also receive a complimentary wall box home charger from the brand.
Both variants are underpinned by an 800-volt electrical architecture, enabling high-speed charging capabilities. The CLA 250+ Long Range delivers a WLTP claimed range of up to 792km, while the CLA 200 Standard Range offers a claimed range of 542km on a single charge.
In terms of charging performance, the new CLA supports 240kW DC fast charging, allowing the long range variant to add up to 400km of driving range in around 20 minutes, while the standard range version can gain roughly 320km in the same duration.
Following its launch in April, deliveries of the CLA 250+ Long Range are scheduled to begin by the end of the same month, whereas the CLA 200 Standard Range will start reaching customers from June 2026.
