Popular luxury automaker Mercedes Benz has launched the new AMG GT S in India for Rs 2.4 Crore (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). Speaking more on the occasion, Roland Folger, Mercedes-Benz India MD and CEO, said, “The launch of the AMG GT S is the finest example of our top-of-pyramid approach for the Indian market as we are presenting the most acclaimed product from our global portfolio. With the new GT S, Mercedes-AMG emerges even more aggressively as a dynamic sports car brand.”
The Mercedes Benz AMG GT S gets 4-litre V8 engine that generates a massive 510bhp and 650Nm of max torque. The vehicle comes mated to AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed sports transmission that offers five modes namely 'C' (Comfort), 'S' (Sport), 'S+' (Sport Plus), I (Individual) and 'RACE' mode. The vehicle can do a 0-100 km/h in just about 3.8 seconds.
German automaker Mercedes Benz is offering six upholstery options, four trim options, seven exterior color options, four alloy design options and host of unique configurations and customization options. Additionally, the company also offers adaptive brake lights, composite braking system, automatic child seat recognition and eight airbags.
