Mercedes’ next AMG derivative of the GLC will join the current GLC 43 AMG which has already been introduced in markets abroad. The GLC 43 AMG is equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 motor that makes 367bhp and 520Nm of torque.

Though details have not been officially revealed, Merc’s GLC 63 AMG is expected to use the new 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 that currently powers the C 63 AMG. This is also means that the GLC 63 could also make it to the market in two versions; a 476bhp base variant and a 510bhp version that could be called the GLC 63 S.

Expect the official launch of the GLC 63 AMG to be held in mid-2017 for markets worldwide. It would be interesting to see if the brand debuts either of the models in the Indian market.
