Mercedes-Benz to launch the C43 AMG in India tomorrow

The AMG badging on the car means AMG performance parts, a diamond radiator grille, 18-inch AMG alloy wheels, ventilated disc brakes and more distinctive AMG styling bits are a given. Other highlights include an AMG instrument cluster with chequered flag design, AMG RIDE CONTROL, AMG DYNAMIC SELECT with five drive modes, three-stage ESP, Eco Start-stop etc.

The Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG is essentially a performance-oriented iteration of the C-Class sedan. It comes powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, which produces 367bhp and 570Nm of torque, while being mated to a nine-speed automatic gearbox. It features a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system that sends power to all the wheels.

The Mercedes C43 AMG will be the company's thirteenth and the final launch for the Indian market this year. This is also the third AMG car of 2016 after the AMG GLE 43 Coupe and AMG SLC 43. With a price tag of Rs 70 lakh, the German carmaker is expected to slot the AMG C43 between the C200 and the AMG C63 S in our country. More details will be shared from the launch event tomorrow.
