The much awaited Maruti Vitara Brezza is all set for launch on 21stMarch, 2016. As revealed by sources, interested customers can book one at authorized dealerships by paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000. The pricing aspect has not been official revealed by the company yet, but it is anticipated to be offered at a price range between Rs 6.5 - 9 Lakh. Post launch it could emerge as a strong rival to the likes of Mahindra TUV300 and Ford Ecosport.
The upcoming Maruti Brezza shall only be offered in diesel engine option for now. It would be powered by 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder engine that is mated to 5-speed manual transmission. The fairly powered engine shall generate about 89bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 200Nm of torque at 1,750rpm. In terms of dimensions the Vitara Brezza would measure 3,995 mm in length, 1,640 mm in height and 1,790 mm in width. The compact SUV gets a wheelbase measuring 2,500 mm and a ground clearance of about 198mm.
Based on variants, the Vitara Brezza shall feature reverse parking camera, SmartPlay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, cruise control, inbuilt navigation and engine starter button. The vehicle would offer interesting features like automatic headlights and projector headlights with LED DRLs. Loaded with modern features and backed by Maruti’s affordable car image, the Vitara Brezza shall surely emerge as a strong contender in the compact SUV segment in India.
