The much awaited Vitara Brezza caught fancy of many who attended the 2016 Auto Expo Event in India. This time around sources have spotted production ready models have been spotted, thereby hinting on a possibility of the vehicle finding its way to dealerships soon. Bookings for the same have commenced for Rs 21,000. For now, sources have spotted the upcoming Vitara Brezza in seven color options at three trim levels.
The Maruti Vitara Brezza would be offered with 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine mated to 5-speed manual transmission would generate about 89bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. It is also believed that the company may introduce a petrol trim that could either be a 1.2-litre option or a 1.0-litre boosterjet turbo petrol that would first find way in the Baleno. Automatic options may be introduced at a later date.
Based on what could be seen, the VDi trim does not come with projector headlamps and alloy wheels. While, the top end ZDi+ comes with projector headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, silver skid plates and more. The vehicle would be sold via regular dealership and not premium Nexa outlets. More details on features as per variants would be revealed in coming days.
