Maruti Suzuki will launch the Swift facelift and new Alto K10 in November. The company is also planning to launch the Swift Dzire facelift for the Indian car market. It is expected that the Dzire facelift launch could take place in December. Just like the hatchback sibling, the compact sedan would get mild exterior tweaks. The vehicle largely resembles the current model; however, the company has made some smart tweaks to keep things fresh in the market.

The Swift Dzire facelift will sport the slightly revised smoked headlamps, more chrome inserts for the front grille and a restyled bumper that accommodates wider air dam and new fog lamp enclosure. Its wheel arches have been fitted to new alloy wheels, while the revised bumper features rear parking sensors. Inside, the facelift Dzire will sport keyless entry with push start button, audio system with Bluetooth compatibility, multi-functional steering with controls for audio and telephony, etc. It also gets electrically adjustable and retractable wing mirrors.

Mechanically, the refreshed Dzire will retain the same 1.2-litre K series petrol and the tried & trusted 1.3-litre Multi-Jet turbo diesel engines. While the petrol motor is good for 86bhp and 14Nm of torque, the oil burner develops 74bhp and 190Nm of torque. A five-speed manual gearbox will come as standard, while the petrol model would also get 4-speed automatic transmission as an optional.
