Finally, India’s leading automobile manufacturer Maruti is launching its most awaited 2011 Maruti Swift in this week. It is confirmed that the company will launch this new Swift model in India on August 17th. Maruti has taken special care to update this car and as a result it will come with new looks with lot of modifications and ample advanced features. Also, the new Swift comes implemented with BS IV emission norms.
New Maruti Swift 2011 will be available in both petrol and diesel engines with six variants that include Swift VXi, LDi, VDi, LXi, ZDi and ZXi. The petrol version will come with 1.2 liter engine and the diesel version will come with 1.3 liter multijet DDiS engine. According to ARAI, petrol Maruti Swift 2011 can give a mileage of 20 km per liter, which is 2.1 l higher than the existing version, while the diesel version can give a mileage of 23.8 km per liter, which is 2.8 km per liter higher than the existing diesel version.
New 2011 Maruti Swift model will come in attractive colors like blazing red, silver, glistening grey, white, black and torque blue. Apart from that the car is loaded with additional features like USB and AUX, climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, back wiper, power steering with audio control, electronic folding rear view mirror and so on.
Coming to the safety part, Maruti Swift 2011 is loaded with safety feature like dual airbags, anti-lock breaking system with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), electro magnetic tailgate opener, and rear window wiper and so on.
As a conclusion, the B-Segment Swift car delivers superb power and performance, while the diesel variant is considered as one of the most fuel efficient cars of the segment. Since it is loaded with ample of new features, the new Maruti Swift 2011's price has been increased and will range between 5 lacs and 7 lacs.
