      Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest passenger car maker, has been a well appreciated company when it comes to hatchbacks. This auto company has offered some of the iconic models, which have been present in the market for almost decades. One of the ideal family cars is Wagon R, which is known for its sturdy built, driveability and superior features. The main highlights of this model are ample legroom, headroom and boot space. Industry experts have said that this car has all the standard amenities, which makes Maruti Suzuki Wagon R a perfect car on the Indian roads.

      Owing to its popularity, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is offered in numerous variants. Currently, petrol, CNG and LPG trims of Wagon R are available in the Indian auto market. All these variants come equipped with a powerful 12-valve, 1-litre K-Series petrol engine, which has decent power and torque outputs. Interested buyers can buy these different variants of Wagon R in a price range of Rs. 3.5 lakh and Rs. 4.5 lakh.

      First variant in the list is Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Petrol, which has been further classified into LX, LXI and VXI. All these variants are powered by a same engine, which pumps out a power of around 68 bhp with a maximum torque of 90 Nm. With these performance figures, the model also delivers a mileage of close to 21 kmpl, which is much appreciated by the Indian buyers.

      Next model in the bandwagon is Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Green (CNG), which comes packed with a CNG cylinder along with the standard petrol engine. With the bi-fuel option, driver can switch to either fuel source with a single press of a button. In CNG mode, the model churns out a maximum power of 59 bhp and a highest torque of 77 Nm, while in petrol model these figures clock at 68 and 90, respectively.

      Last in the league is Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Duo (LPG), which is tapped with an LPG cylinder. This variant is also equipped with a bi-fuel engine, allowing the driver to switch between both the fuel options with a single press of a button. In LPG mode, the car delivers a fuel economy of 14.6 km/kg, which is again a pro fact for the price sensitive Indian buyers.
