The popular tall boy Wagon R from the Maruti Suzuki's production line has been been thrilling the country for over a decade now. This time around, sources have managed to capture the first look of the AMT technology laden Wagon R hatchback in the country. The AMT from Magneti Marelli that has been serving the Celerio and Alto K10 hatchbacks shall also be serving the new yet to be launched Wagon R AMT trim.
The test mule shared a lot of resemblance with the existing trim except for Auto Gear Shift (AGS) badge under the variant badge. The AMT trim is likely to be continued being powered by 1.0 Liter K-series engine that would generate about 68 PS of power with 90 Nm of torque. The sources have also hinted that Stingray trim shall also receive the AMT technology. The mileage if not better is expected to return the same impressive figures of about 20.51 kmpl.
