Swift Dzire sedan from Maruti Suzuki has been a popular choice amongst competitors like Hyundai, Honda and Tata Motors. As the new Swift Dzire face-lifted trim reaches the dealership outlets in Delhi, some of them have also reportedly begun accepting the bookings for the same. The vehicle is expected to be delivered sometime by the first week of March.
Speaking on new features, the vehicle sports single chrome slat grill and Chrome laden fog lamp inserts. The headlamps have also been redesigned and compliments the redesigned bumpers. Except for the new alloy wheels, the side profile has remained more or less the same as the previous version. The vehicle is available in petrol as well as diesel trims, the diesel trim comes blessed with 1.3-litre multijet engine, whereas the petrol trim gets 1.2-litre K-Series engine.
Speaking of newly introduced features the vehicle gets adjustable wing mirrors, push start/stop button, new upholstery, and six-speaker sound system with Bluetooth and iPod compatibility music system. Owing to use of upgraded technology, the new face-lift trim reportedly delivers a better fuel efficiency as compared to the previous trim. The pricing aspect is unknown for now, but it is likely to be offered at a slightly additional cost of about Rs. 30,000.
