Maruti Suzuki plans to sell the upcoming Ignis crossover and the refreshed Ciaz through their Nexa dealerships. Maruti set up Nexa to build a separately branded dealership chain to sell premium vehicles.
After the S-Cross and the Baleno, they plan to launch the facelifted Ciaz and the Ignis through this dealership as well. Maruti just launched their 100th Nexa dealerships in India and plan to expand this network. In 2015, a total of 40,000 cars were sold through Nexa that included 23,000 Balenos and 17,000 units of the S-Cross. Looking at the demand for premium cars picking up, 100 more outlets are planned to be inaugurated over the course of this year. This Nexa network is expected to add to 15-17 per cent of the total sales of Maruti Suzuki.
Both the Ignis and the facelifted Ciaz and will be launched this year. They are also expected to be showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo in February.
