      The new S-Cross from Maruti Suzuki will once again make an attempt to mark its presence in the crossover segment in India. Interestingly, the new S-Cross is limited to a 1.3-litre DDiS 200 diesel engine with Smart Hybrid technology that generates 90bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The larger 1.6-litre engine option from the older model has been given a miss this time around. The new S-Cross facelift is available in four variants – Alpha, Zeta, Delta and Sigma. The detailed list of features in each variant has been detailed as follows.

      S-Cross Sigma

      The base Sigma variant offers a humble set of features like steel wheels, chrome grille, body coloured door handles and ORVMs (electrically adjustable), halogen projector headlamps and silver skid plate garnish. As for interior, it comes with a silver finish and gets the centre louver face in black. The base variant gets a fabric seat upholstery, TFT infotainment display with trip metre and fuel consumption, manual AC, seven-step illumination control and outside temperature display. Features like keyless entry, tilt steering, engine auto start-stop cancel switch and electric backdoor opening is offered as standard. Like all Nexa models, safety equipment like front dual airbags and ABS with EBD is offered as standard.

      S-Cross Delta

      Progressing one level up, the Delta variant gets all the features from the base trim. In addition to the base features, you get wheel caps, reverse parking sensor, audio with CD player, four door speakers, steering mounted controls and sliding front centre armrest with storage. The Delta variant also gets a glove box with damper, driver side footrest, storage space for sunglasses and back pocket on front seats.

       S-Cross Zeta

      Customers who are looking for a few more features over the Delta variant, can have the Zeta trim which additionally gets alloy wheels with centre wheel cap and turn lamps on ORVMs. The variant also gets satin chrome interior finish and a piano black centre louver face. Maruti Suzuki offers the SmartPLay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and navigation system from the Zeta variant. The system also supports voice command and offers remote control via smartphone app. The trim also gets electrically foldable ORVMs, auto AC, reclining rear seats, engine push start/stop and cruise control system.

      S-Cross Alpha

      The top of the line Alpha variant of the S-Cross is for the ones who settle for nothing less than the best. The top-spec version in addition to all the features from the lower variants offers silver roof rails, LED rear combination lamps, leather seat upholstery and steering wheel, automatic LED projector headlamps, rain sensing wipers and auto dimming IRVM.
