Swift hatchbacks are offered in four different variants – the LXI, the LXI Option, the VXI and ZXI, which are tagged at 4.4 lakhs, 4.5 lakhs, 5.1 lakhs and 5.9 lakhs INR. The four models are powered by an 1197 cc, 16 V K series engine, which is capable of producing 83.14 bhp at the rate of 6000 rpm. The net torque output of the cars is 115 Nm at the rate of 4000 rpm. The standard model has normal features like air conditioner and power steering. As we go to the higher variants, the number of comfort features like power windows, power steering is provided.
The sedan model Swift Dzire is also a popular choice for people who look for performance as well as comfort. The diesel model comes in four variants – LDI, VDI, LDIX Limited Edition and ZDI, priced at 5.8 lakhs, 6.5 lakhs, 6.9 lakhs and 7.3 lakhs INR. The models run on a 1248 cc 16 V DDiS engine capable of producing a power of 74 bhp at the rate of 4000 rpm. The maximum torque output of the cars is 190 Nm at the rate of 2000n rpm. CRDi fuel supply system is used on all the four variants, and the power is sent to all the four wheels using a five speed manual gearbox. Comfort features are well taken care of in the cars, with more additional features getting added as the higher model is chosen. The average city mileage of the cars is 18.6 kilometres per litre, while for highways; it is 23.4 kilometres for a litre.
The petrol variants come in four different trim models – the LXI, VXI, ZXI and VXI AT, priced at 4.9 lakhs, 5.4 lakhs, 6.3 lakhs INR for the last two, respectively. Powered by an 1197 cc, 16 V engine, the car is capable of producing 85.8 bhp at the rate of 6000 rpm. The net torque output for the cars is 114 Nm at the rate 4000 rpm. The cars come with FWD option and power is transmitted to the wheels using a five-speed transmission.
