Rise in interest rates, competition and sluggish market have affected major car-makers in the country. India's largest car-maker Maruti Suzuki is also one among the affected ones, in order to tackle with the situation and grow with the sales numbers, Maruti has come up with interesting offers across its segment. A maximum discount of about a little over Rs. 80,000 have been offered on selected models.
Apart from the new discount offers, the existing ones like corporate offers and exchange offers shall prevail, thereby bringing down the overall cost considerably. Depending on city you may expect discounts ranging from Rs. 40,000 – 60,000, Rs. 50,000 – 70,000 on Wagon R and Stingray, whereas, heavy discount of about Rs. 70,000 – 90,000 can be expected on SX4.
Car sales for Maruti have dipped to about 11,55,041 units this fiscal year as against 11,71,434 units reportedly being sold in last fiscal year. With the new interesting list of discounts up for grabs, the company expects to generate good sales number this time around.
