Maruti Suzuki has recently announced a five-year extended warranty plan on all its vehicles. This Royal Platinum Extended Warranty Program, which will secure Maruti car owners from unexpected repairs can be availed at any of the dealerships across India.
The new Royal Platinum Extended Warranty Program offers coverage on expensive parts like TurboCharger assembly, compressor, ECM etc. in case of any manufacturing defects. It also ensures coverage for both, a period of five years or one lakh kilometers, whichever is earlier.
This Royal Platinum program is another offering from the carmaker in addition to the existing Gold (three years 60,000kms) and Platinum (four years/80,000km) extended warranty policies. Owners who have already opted for the Gold or Platinum extended warranty can avail this service at a nominal cost. Maruti Suzuki says about 70 per cent car owners opt for extended warranty programs. It wanted to offer an owner with more benefits and thus has come up with this new policy. Its premium can be calculated according to the vehicle at any of the Maruti Suzuki dealerships.
