In February 2012, the company sold 6.5 per cent more cars in Year over Year (YoY) basis in the domestic market and 11.8 per cent in the international arena. The manufacturer sold a total of 118949 units in the month, while its sales figure for the same period last year stood at 111645 vehicles. However, it is still reeling from the aftereffects of last year's debacles, including the labour strike at the Manesar unit, rising petrol prices and interest rates and slump in the market.
