Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) is looking at moving into the luxury family car market with the launch of Kizashi in the year 2010, reports Economic Times.

The new baby of the company is presently in the concept stage. It was first unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the year 2007. It is believed to be the first all-wheel drive sedan in the luxury D segment.
The car will be driven by an advanced four-valve turbo-fired two-liter petrol, Euro V engine, which will also be premiered at the same time. It is also likely to boast the first six-speed transmission from the Suzuki stable. Kizashi is a crossover sports sedan, which represents an athlete in motion and is likely to sport 21` wheels.
The car is likely to be rolled out of the company`s Manesar facility. It will be positioned in the Rs 10 lakh-plus price band.
It is believed that, the engineers of the company have already started working on the Kizashi to take it to the production platform.
