Maruti Suzuki has commenced public road tests in India ahead of the updated model’s launch that could take place in mid-2022. A set of images featuring a partly camouflaged test mule of the MPV was recently spotted in the country.
As seen in the spy images, the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Ertiga features a camouflage wrap only on the grille, hinting at where the changes for the mild update of the model would lie. We expect all other features such as the dual pod headlamps, LED tail lights, and alloy wheels from the outgoing version to be carried over to the facelift model.
Details regarding the changes to the interior of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift remain unknown at the moment. Under the hood, the model is expected to be powered by the same 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. This motor is paired to a five-speed manual unit and a four-speed torque converter automatic unit in its current avatar. More details are likely to surface soon. Stay tuned for updates.
