Japanese automobile manufacturer Suzuki has unveiled the all new Ertiga concept at the 2019 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). Based on the second generation Ertiga MPV sold in India, the model receives feature updates to the interior and exterior.
As compared to the standard Ertiga, the concept model showcased at the Indonesia Auto Show features chrome highlights on the lower side of the front bumper, new three slat grille, new alloy wheels, contrast coloured roof and side skirts. Also on offer is a chrome strip running the width of the boot and an integrated spoiler.
On the inside, the Suzuki Ertiga concept comes equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, faux wood inserts and a beige themed interior. At the heart of the model is likely to be a 1.5-litre B15B petrol engine that is paired to a four speed automatic transmission.
It is believed that the Suzuki Ertiga Concept could form the base for the upcoming Ertiga Cross that will be launched in India in the coming months. Apart from the aforementioned features, the model could receive a six seat layout (captain seats for the second row) and body cladding. Once launched, the Ertiga Cross will receive a new name and will be sold via the Nexa dealerships.
