      Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Z+ Trim launched

      Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer, has silently added a new top-end variant- the Z+ to its newly launched Maruti Ciaz’s lineup. The new trim level comes as a replacement for the Z(O), which was available in the market since its launch. While the ZXi+ variant is priced at Rs. 9.08 lakh, the diesel spec ZDi+ variant is tagged at Rs. 10.37 lakh, ex-showroom New Delhi.

      The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Z+ trim features a new SmartPlay infotainment system that comprises of a 7-inch touchscreen, navigation and voice command features. This infotainment system serves as a display for the reverse parking camera and can be utilized to use some application available in your smartphone. The vehicle also gets 16-inch alloy wheels.Other features include leather wrapped steering wheel, leather upholstery for seats and other elements, and has all the features that are accessible in the Z trim.

      Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

      The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is available in both petrol and diesel fuel options. The petrol version is powered by a 1.4-litre K Series engine that churns out a maximum power output of 98bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 130Nm at 4,000rpm. The oil burner is the 1.3-litre multi-jet unit that is good for 89bhp at 4,000rpm and a peak torque of 200Nm at 1,750rpm.

      The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz competes against the likes of Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Ford Fiesta, Renault Scala, Fiat Linea, Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid. Dimensionally, the Ciaz measures 4,490mm in length, 1,730mm in width, and 1,485mm in height. It comes with a large wheelbase of 2,650mm, while the ground clearance stands at 170mm.
