Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming much awaited Ciaz sedan I due for launched this weekend on 5th October. Maruti Suzuki Authorized dealers in the country have started accepting bookings for the Ciaz sedan at a token amount of about Rs. 21,000. As per latest revelation made by sources, the Ciaz sedan shall be launched four petrol trims namely - VXi, VXi+, ZXi and ZXi+ trims. Whereas, diesel variant shall also available in four variants namely - VDi, VDi+, ZDi and ZDi+ trims. Maruti Suzuki has also introduced automatic transmission in the new Ciaz, the sedan shall get an optional four-speed gearbox in the VXi+ and ZXi variants.
The new Ciaz from Maruti Suzuki shall be powered by 1.4 Liter petrol engine that generates about 91 Bhp of power, whereas the diesel version shall be powered by 1.3 Liter engine that generates about 89Bhp of power. Safety features like EBD and ABS and airbags have been included in VXi+ and VDi+ variants. Moreover, these variants have also received features like climate control, Audio system with Bluetooth, height adjustability for the driver’s seat, parking sensors, and steering-mounted controls. The base models namely VXi and VDi trims are loaded with features like keyless entry, audio system with USB, projector headlamps, fabric upholstery front and rear armrests, aux-in and card reader, and indicator mated electrically-adjustable wing mirrors.
Features like Smartplay infotainment system, leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering, and 16-inch alloys have been included in Top end ZXi+ and ZDi+ Ciaz trims. Features like front passenger airbag, electric wing mirrors, 15-inch alloys, rear sunshade, keyless entry and go, reversing camera, and fabric and leather upholstery have been included in ZDi and ZXi trims. The pricing aspect for the upcoming Ciaz is unknown for now and shall only be known at the time of launch.
