Maruti Suzuki’s Ciaz has managed to generate a lot of curiosity around its sedan ever since it was first showcased at the Auto Expo event held earlier this year. The vehicle is expected to be launched next month and is expected to be launched in petrol as well as diesel variant. The Ciaz sedan is likely to be available in VXi/VDi/ VXi+/VDi+, ZXi/ZDi, ZXi+/ZDi+ trims. The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is expected to be priced in Rs. 8 - 10 Lakhs segment.
As per updates from the company, Ciaz had received over 3000 bookings in the initial days of bookings announcements being made. The diesel version of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is likely to be powered by 1.3 Liter Multijet engine that generates about 90 PS of power with a torque output of about 200 Nm. As per ARAI certification the vehicle delivers an impressive fuel efficiency figure of about 26.21 kmpl. The petrol version of Ciaz is stated to be powered by 1.4 litre K-Series engine that generates top power output of about 92.45 PS with a torque output of about 130 Nm. The automatic version is also expected to be launched in the Ciaz sedan with a four speed automatic transmission, whereas the manual version may get five speed transmissions.
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Ciaz shall sport interesting shades of Pearl Snow White, Pearl Metallic Dignity Brown, Pearl Sangaria Red, Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Glistering Gray, Pearl Midnight Black and Metallic Clear Beige. The entry level trim shall receive 15 inch steel wheels with full wheel cap, whereas the mid trim shall sport 15 inch alloy wheels. The top end variant shall get 16 inch alloy wheels. The sedan comes loaded with features like SmartPlay infotainment system that includes Smartphone Linkage, Multi-touch display, complete Multimedia connectivity, navigation, voice recognition and playback.
