Country's largest automaker Maruti Suzuki, has reportedly been planning introducing the ABS technology in its Alto K10 and Alto 800 variants. The move is likely to help the brand gain a better footing in small car segment in times when safety standards are being questioned by interested buyers and testing agencies.
As per Motorbeam, it is likely that the vehicle may receive the anti-lock braking system (ABS) along with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) system. Additionally, the vehicle may also receive air-bag systems. On the pricing aspect, it is likely to cost a little more than the existing variant.
