      Maruti Opens new workshop at Kaza at an altitude of 3,740 meters

      Maruti Suzuki, one of the most prominent car makers in the Indian market, has added one more feather in its cap with the opening of new workshop at Kaza in the Lahaul and Spiti district. In 27 years of its operations in the Indian market, Maruti has become a synonym of best in class service provider with topping the charts in customer satisfaction.

      With opening of this new dealership at one of the highest places in the world (an altitude of 3,740 meters), the company has further bolstered its image in the country. Before this, the previous highest workshop of the company was at Leh at 3,505 meters.

      The new workshop will be catering of some other areas also including Kibber, Rangnik, Losar, and Hanse. Speaking on the occasion of the opening of this workshop, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) executive officer (service), Pankaj Narula said, "It is a challenge operating a service station in such conditions but it will help cater to our growing number of customers in the region and also to the high tourist traffic."

      At present, Maruti has highest number of service stations with 2992 workshops spread across 1406 cities.
