Maruti Suzuki India is gearing up to launch a new top-of-the line variant of its recently launched mid-sized sedan- the Ciaz. Named as Ciaz Z+, the upcoming variant will sport new advanced features and new exterior shade.
Based on the Z (Optional) variant, the Z+ trim will get all the features that are accessible in the current top-spec model. It features a new touch-screen ‘SmartPlay’ system that will allow owner to connect their handsets. The in-car infotainment system along with navigation system will work as a smartphone for users. It will create replica of owners’ smartphone’s screen on the Smartplay, making it easier for users to operate easily.
The current top-spec model is equipped with full leather upholstery, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, 16-inch alloy wheels and others. Adding to it, the new Ciaz Z+ variant will get new blue exterior paint finish. The new paint finish will join the existing colours including Pearl Snow White, Pearl Sangria Red, Pearl Metallic Dignity Brown, Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic clear Beige, Pearl Metallic Black and Metallic Glistening Gray.
The Maruti Ciaz Z+ variant is expected to be priced around Rs. 30,000-50,000 more than the current top-end model. The petrol version is propelled by a 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder unit that produces 92PS and 130PS. Its oil burner is the tried & trusted 1.3-litre multi-jet motor that develops 90PS and 200Nm of torque.
