Launched in October, Maruti Suzuki India’s SX4 replacement, Ciaz sedan garnered 5840 unit sales in the month of November. In October, Ciaz did relatively well at 6,345 units outnumbering its arch rival, Honda City. As a result of mounting anticipation for the sedan, the vehicle might have managed to garner higher sales as compared to the following month. Though, the margin is narrow between the sales of both the months and hopefully the sedan will manage to maintain its sales momentum in upcoming months.

Overall, MSI witnessed 19.5 per cent surge in sales and 17 per cent rise in domestic sales. MSI collectively sold 1,10,147 units including domestic sales and exports as against 92,140 units sold last year at the same time.
