Among its various changes will be addition of automated manual transmission making it the first ever A segment hatchback and most semi-affordable automatic vehicle to be offered in India currently. AMT gearbox however will be offered only on two trims only while a five-speed manual transmission will matched to four variants. Caught on camera a number of times, the new variant of Alto K10 is expected to sport a chrome grill in the front, redesigned head lamps, tail lights, 13-inch alloy wheels, revised bumpers in front and rear and a couple of other changes will be seen in the outside. Buzz has it that Alto K10 facelift will share striking resemblance with its smaller sibling Alto 800 in terms of looks.

Spruced up cabin will get a restyled dashboard, new upholstery and control buttons. Under the hood will the same 67 Bhp/89.27 Nm engine that does duty in Celerio hatchback. A part of A segment, Alto K10 will rival the likes of Hyundai Eon, Datsun GO and Chevrolet Spark. With an AMT tranny on offer the new Alto K10 will get an edge over its rivals in A segment.
