      Maruti again tops the chart for best selling cars in the month of November 2012

      Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), the country's largest passenger car maker, as expected has again topped as the best selling four-wheeler firm in domestic market, with almost its entire fleet wrapping up impressive sales in November 2012.

      The company's Alto range comprising freshly launched Alto 800, Alto K10 and Alto entry-level small cars witnessed a surge of 11.1 per cent in number of sales at 23,550 units, recorded during November 2012. Further, Maruti Suzuki's 2012 Year to Date (YTD) sales of Alto models stand at 260,599 units.

      Maruti Suzuki's flagship product in premium compact hatchback segment, Swift recorded an increase of 8.1 per cent in sales, which stand at 17,335 units in November 2012. Reportedly, the Swift hatch remained one of the company's best selling product last year as well and its YTD sales for the ongoing year has been registered at 169,361 units.

      MSIL, the country's favourite passenger car maker, is on cloud nine as its sole offering in entry-level sedan segment, the Swift Dzire wrapped up a decent climb up of 6.3 per cent in its sales at 13,502 units during November 2012. The YTD sales figures of the compact sedan have been reported at 141,197 units for the ongoing year.

      WagonR, Maruti Suzuki's first car with a 'Tall Boy' design, continues to enjoy its success among the domestic car enthusiasts, even after so many years of its launch in the country. According to reports, WagonR witnessed an increase of 5.2 per cent in its sales during November 2012 at 11,075 units. The YTD sales of WagonR stand at 130,507 units, which is a remarkable turnout considering cut throat competition in the segment.
