The Bentley Bentayga is the first ever SUV built by the British luxury marque. Mansory, the outrageous tuner, has a penchant for Bentleys and turns the royal serene beauties into monsters. The latest Bentley, the Bentayga, has undergone Mansory treatment and is set to make its debut at the SEMA show to be held in the first week of November.
To start with, we are yet to come to terms with the way the Bentayga looks. Dollops of carbon fibre have been splashed on the hood, the new and it has aggressive bumpers with splitters and diffusers as well as the wing spoiler extending from the roof. The large wheel wells are stuffed with 23 inch alloys with the sides being bolstered for almost a wide-body look. The all-black scheme is still easy on the eyes but the white-black theme does poke you.
The aero props and larger wheels help putting the 691bhp of power and 1050Nm of torque, up from 600bhp and 900Nm of torque. While the added punch from the 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 petrol engine extends the top whack by just 10kmph, the time taken to hit the top whack is much less. Yes it does get upgraded brakes to help it stop and also comes with a custom exhaust system to announce your arrival.
The interior is redone and you can choose from a variety of wooden veneers and leathers to go with the carbon fibre. In fact, the steering wheel is also new and now comes in a weird shape but with all the buttons you need to control the infotainment as well as the instrument cluster screens. Comfort and luxury features will certainly be comprehensive, making sure the Bentley legacy is conserved.
The price tag on this custom build will be steep but what you have will be rare and will certainly make you think twice when you look at it.
